IS THE INSTRUCTOR INSURED AS AN INSTRUCTOR OR TRAINER?
Do they have enough experience to be insured as a an instructor?  If not, you can be held responsible for
any mistakes made working on your models.

RX Beauty Inks: Yes, we are insured to teach and have students work on models.

IS THE INSTRUCTOR ACTUALLY CERTIFIED?
There is a difference in having a certificate and being certified.  Certificates mean one has completed
hours or a class.  Becoming certified requires experience and a written exam by a qualified society or
association.  When you complete the course, you will get a certificate.  It is unlawful for training facilities
to offer certifications when they are not qualified to do so.

RX Beauty Inks:  Our instructor, Angela,  is a CPCP- Certified Permanent Cosmetics Professional with
the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals.

WHEN DID THE INSTRUCTOR TAKE THEIR TRAINING FOR THE CLASS YOU ARE CONSIDERING?
Don't just take their word for it, get a copy of their certificate and check to make sure it is authentic.  Many
classes taught these days are by beginners that still don't even know what they are doing much less
teaching.

RX Beauty Inks:  Angela has more than 1600 hours of training in the paramedical tattoo and permanent
cosmetic industry and travels around the world continuously studying to be up to date on all the newest
techniques.

WHAT KIND OF MACHINE WILL YOU BE TRAINED ON?
Needles and machines are not created equal.  A great digital machine will cost more than $3000-$6000
and is never included in the price of the class.  Most "off brand" machines that may be included with
training will not have enough power or consistency to deliver quality work that every client deserves.

RX Beauty Inks:  Our machines available and/or included with select classes are top of the line brushless
rotary machine that is used exclusively in our studio, our classes and is utilized by tattoo artists around
the world.  Permanent cosmetics is tattooing and quality equipment is key to your success.  Having a
wide variety of inexpensive needle configurations (approx $0.50-$1.00 each) to choose from to meet
your needs as an artist.  Digital machine needles vary from $12-$25 each and the configurations are
limited to the manufacturer.

DOES THE INSTRUCTOR OFFER ONGOING SUPPORT?
Instructor support is crucial to a trainees success.  There will be questions that need to be addressed to
continue the educational needs of someone new to the industry. Even though they offer support, they may
not address your questions or concerns as they arise... They already have your money.

RX Beauty Inks:  We offer shadow observation-  Any procedure you have been trained in, you can come
watch full procedures to ask questions and learn.   All students may "sit in" on any class they have
already taken for additional understanding, comprehension and practice. .A trainee can also bring in
models and/or their clients and perform procedures at our studio (studio fees apply).  Angela is available
to answer questions and concerns along the way.

DOES THE INSTRUCTOR HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE PORTFOLIO?
Just like shopping for a technician to do cosmetic tattooing, check their portfolio.  Make certain it is
indeed their work.  If you don't like the portfolio, you will likely not like what is taught in the class.

RX Beauty Inks:  Our portfolio can be found at BeautyInks.com

HOW MUCH TRAVEL DOES THE INSTRUCTOR DO?
If an instructor does a lot of traveling, do they actually have a working studio and performing procedures?
If an instructor travels nearly every weekend, chances are they are a "fly by" training.  They take your
money and leave.

RX Beauty Inks:  Angela is occasionally a guest instructor for private groups.  Our classes are in Houston
and we have a fully operational, licensed  studio for hands on procedures.

COSTLY MISTAKES:
Training in such a specialized field should not be fast or cheap!  Some students have felt ripped off by
taking cheaper, shorter classes with way too many students to learn anything. Unfortunately, inexpensive
classes will have 12-30 students with limited ability to learn and understand, watch demo procedure and
share models for hands on. Trainees leave the class unable to perform the services and end up coming
to us for additional retraining.

RX Beauty Inks:   We only allow 4 students per class to offer individual attention.  Our classes will have
full procedure hands on for every student.

Register with a friend for the same class dates and BOTH of you will receive a 10% tuition discount!
